KARIMUN,PERKARANEWS — PT Timah berkolaborasi dengan Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Karimun menggelar bakti sosial untuk masyarakat di Desa Gemunuruh, Kabupaten Karimun, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
Selain bakti sosial membagikan ratusan paket sembako, PT Timah bersama Kejari Karimun menggelar pelestarian lingkungan dengan menanam pohon buah-buah produktif yang dilaksanakan di Gedung Tok Kacang Desa Gemuruh, Jumat (23/2/2024).
Kejari Karimun Priyambudi, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk harmonisasi Kejari Karimun agar bisa semakin dengan masyarakat. Rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan yakni peninjauan mangrove, menanam pohon produktif, dan membagikan paket sembako.
Dirinya juga mengapresiasi PT Timah yang telah bersinergi dengan Kejari Karimun untuk menggelar bakti sosial dan program pelestarian lingkungan.
“Kegiatan kali ini memberikan paket sembako kepada masyarakat, kemudian penanaman pohon produktif serta peninjauan lokasi lokasi hutan mangrove yang ada di sekitar Desa Gemuruh,” katanya.
Priyambudi mengatakan bibit tanaman buah ini diserahkan kepada Kepala Desa Gemuruh Ari Supriadi yang nantinya akan dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Adapun bibit pohon yang diserahkan seperti mangga, jambu, alpukat dan lainnya.
“Kandungan buah-buahan sangat banyak manfaat untuk tubuh kita apabila kita konsumsi dengan baik dan sesuai kebutuhan,” katanya.
Dirinya mengapresiasi PT Timah yang telah melakukan penanaman mangrove dimana saat ini mangrove ini telah tumbuh dan bermanfaat untuk masyarakat.
“Saya lihat perkembangan mangrove di sini sudah cukup baik, apabila dikelola secara baik. Ini akan memberikan dampak yang positif untuk lingkungan dan juga masyarakat, karena mangrove dapat mengurangi dampak abrasi serta menjadi habitat yang baik untuk ekosistem pesisir,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Desa Gemuruh Ari Supriadi mengapresiasi Kajari Karimun yang telah memberikan bantuan sosial kepada masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah.
“Terima kasih juga kepada PT Timah yang senantiasa hadir untuk masyarakat Desa Gemuruh serta mendukung kegiatan masyarakat. Kami warga Desa Gemuruh merasa beruntung ada PT Timah di tengah-tengah kami dan mendukung kegiatan yang dilaksanakan,” tandasnya. (Yuko)
