PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Narkotika Kelas IIA Pangkalpinang menggelar Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) Serentak Tahun 2024 bagi seluruh Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP), Rabu (14/2/2024).
Bertempat di Halaman Dalam Lapas Narkotika Kelas IIA Pangkalpinang, kegiatan diawali dengan penerimaan kelengkapan Pemilu dan para saksi dari masing-masing partai, serta pengambilan sumpah dari setiap Pengawas dan Anggota KPPS (Kelompok Penyelenggara Pemungutan Suara). Selanjutnya dilakukan pembukaan segel kotak suara dan penghitungan surat suara oleh Anggota KPPS yang disaksikan langsung oleh para saksi serta penyegelan kembali kotak suara.
Kepala Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Kalapas) Narkotika Kelas IIA Pangkalpinang, Nur Bambang Supri Handono yang hadir secara langsung mengawasi kegiatan ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat 3 (tiga) Tempat Pemungutan Suara atau TPS Khusus di Lapas Narkotika Kelas IIA Pangkalpinang.
“Di Lapas Narkotika Kelas IIA Pangkalpinang sendiri terdapat 3 TPS Khusus yang disediakan bagi warga binaan, yang terdiri dari TPS 901, TPS 902 dan TPS 903. Masing-masing TPS tersebut mengakomodir sebanyak 300 orang warga binaan,” jelas Kalapas.
Kalapas menambahkan, dari keseluruhan WBP Lapas Narkotika Pangkalpinang yang berjumlah 917 orang, 870 orang warga binaan diantaranya memenuhi syarat untuk menyalurkan hak suaranya dalam Pemilu Tahun 2024 ini. Jumlah tersebut terdiri dari 648 orang WBP yang terdaftar sebagai Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT) dan 222 orang WBP sebagai Daftar Pemilih Tambahan (DPTb).
Sementara itu, warga binaan yang tidak dapat menyalurkan hak pilihnya yakni sebanyak 47 orang. Hal ini dikarenakan terdapat warga binaan yang masih tahanan baru, terdapat anomali data serta tidak memenuhi syarat sebagai DPT maupun DPTb oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Pangkalpinang.
“Selain Warga Binaan, juga terdapat 37 Petugas yang merupakan Pengawas, Anggota KPPS dan Pengamanan Internal yang ikut serta memberikan hak pilihnya di TPS Khusus Lapas Narkotika Pangkalpinang,” ujar Kalapas.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Kalapas kembali menegaskan bahwa jajarannya akan memastikan dengan benar bahwa tidak ada Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) yang menggunakan hak pilihnya lebih dari 1 (satu) kali. Lebih lanjut, Kalapas berujar bahwa akan melakukan proses penghitungan suara secara cermat dan sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku agar tidak ada kesalahan dalam penghitungan hasil suara. (Yuko)
