JAKARTA,PERKARANEWS – Terkait adanya wacana kembali akan dibangunnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung yang mulai ramai diperbincangkan masyarakat.
Forum Laskar Bangka Belitung (FORLABB) yang sejak 2010 ikut melakukan pengawasan terkait rencana pemerintah yang saat itu melalui BATAN melakukan penelitian, survey dan sosialisasi PLTN.
Sejak 2010 BATAN mulai melakukan pemetaan dua lokasi rencana Tapak PLTN terkait rencana pemetaan tapak PLTN yang menjadi lokasi pemilihan tapak PLTN di Tanjung Ular, Desa Air Putih, Kabupaten Bangka Barat serta Desa Sebagin, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan.
Saat ini, mulai kembali ada wacana akan di bangunnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Thorium (PLTT) di tempat yang berbeda yakni Pulau Gelasa, Desa Batu Beriga, Kecamatan Lubuk Besar, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
Sebelumnya, Forlabb Bateng melakukan audiensi dengan Bupati Bangka Tengah Algafry Rahman pada 27 November 2023 di Ruang Sekda Bateng.
Audiensi yang dipimpin langsung Ketua Forlabb Bateng Eka Putra dan kawan-kawan.
Forlabb melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Pembangunan (DBKP) Badan Riset Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) dikantornya BRIN gedung BJ Habibie, Jumat (1/12/2023).
Ketua Forlabb, Feryandi Komeng dan didampingi ketua Forlabb Bateng, Eka Putra berkunjung ke DBKP BRIN di Jakarta.
“Kedatangan kita ke BRIN yaitu Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Pembangunan untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan terkini soal PLTN atau PLTT,” ujar Eka, Jumat (1/12/2023).
Ditambahkan Ketua sekaligus Pendiri Forlabb,q Feryandi Komeng bahwa saat ini wacana Pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Thorium. Dimana PLTT yang diwacanakan oleh salah satu perusahaan swasta yang berkantor pusat di Amerika ini.
Menurut Komeng sang aktivis pemuda Babel ini bahwa salah satu perusahaan swasta berwacana ingin membangun PLTN energi berbasis teknologi Thorium Molten Salt Reactor (TMSR-500) di Pulau Gelasa Desa Batu Beriga, Kecamatan Lubuk Besar, Kabupaten Bangka Tengah, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
Alhamdulillah kunjungan kita sebagai ajang silahturahmi dan memperdalam soal pengetahuan dan wawasan mengenai dasar regulasi dan peraturan serta informasi terkini soal PLTN.
“Kunjungan Forlabb diterima langsung Prof. Dr. Sriyana dan pak Dimas,” kata Komeng.
Kita berharap jika ada pihak swasta ingin berwacana membangun PLTN maka harus menggunakan cara yang beretika, jujur dan transparan.
“Kita juga berharap pihak Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Pembangunan BRIN dapat melakukan pengecekan langsung ke lokasi rencana bakal tapak PLTT tersebut,” ujarnya.
Jika PLTT ini berbahaya maka kita akan menolak karena ini baru sebatas berwacana dan baru tahap penelitian awal mengenai bakal lokasi tapak
“Tahapannya masih jauh dan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk mengetahui bahwa lokasi Pulau Gelasa dijadikan rencana tapak PLTT tersebut layak atau tidaknya dijadikan Tapak PLTT,” jelas Komeng. (Yuko)
