KOBA,PERKARANEWS – Rachmat Kurniawan terpilih sebagai Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Ketua Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Kabupaten Bangka Tengah menggantikan M Tamimi yang sebelumnya mengundurkan diri lantaran terpilih sebagai Komisioner Bawaslu Bangka Tengah.
Sementara Hari Yana yang sebelumnya menjabat sebagai Bendahara terpilih sebagai Plt. Sekretaris dan Sindi Ayu Kirana sebagai Plt. Bendahara.
Keduanya terpilih dalam rapat pleno PWI Kabupaten Bangka Tengah yang dipimpin Wakil Ketua Bidang Organisasi PWI Babel Mad Doni di Sekretariat PWI Bangka Tengah, Koba, Jumat (3/11/2023).
Rapat pleno juga dihadiri Anggota PWI Bangka Tengah dan Sekretaris PWI Babel Fakhruddin Halim yang mewakili Ketua PWI Babel M Fathurrakhman.
Baik Rahmat Kurniawan, Hari Yana maupun Sindi terpilih untuk melengkapi kekosongan pengurus.
“Karena semua sepakat untuk Plt Ketua, Sekretaris dan Bendahara, masing-masing hanya satu nama, maka saya tetapkan secara aklamasi,” kata Mad Doni, sembari mengetok meja tiga kali.
Usai terpilih, Rachmmat mengatakan akan melaksanakan amanah yang diberikan dengan sebaiknya.
“Saya mahon dukungan teman-teman semua agar roda organisasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Terimakasih atas kepercayaan yang diberikan ke saya,” ujarnya.
Sementara M Tamimi, pada kesempatan itu mengicapkan terimakasih atas dukungan yang diberikan selama menjabat sebagai Ketua PWI Bangka Tengah.
Menurutnya, meski periode kepengurusan belum selesai, namun karen terpilih sebagai Komisioner Bawaslu Bangka Tengah, ia harus mengundurkan diri dari Ketua PWI Bangka Tengah.
Tamimi berjanji akan tetap berkontribusi untuk PWI. “Saya berharap teman-teman PWI Bateng untuk terus menjaga kekompakan dalam memajukan organisasi,” ujarnya.
Sementara Fakhruddin mewakilli Ketua PWI Babel, mengucapkan terimakasih ke Ketua PWI sebelumnya dan jajaran.
“Kami atas nama pengurus PWI Babel mengucapkan terimakasih ke Tamimi dan jajaran yang telah berkontribusi bagi kemajuan organisasi sehingga PWI Bateng bisa seperti hari ini. Dan selamat atas terpilihnya Rachmat sebagai Plt ketua, Hari Yana dan Sindi, selamat bertugas,” kata dia.
Pengurus terpilih selain untuk menjaga roda organisasi tetap berjalan, juga dalam tiga bulan ke depan menyiapkan pelaksanaan Konferensi Luar Biasa PWI Kabupaten Bangka Tengah untuk memilih ketua definitif. (Yuko)
