PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Pemerintah Kota Pangkalpianang melakukan berbagai upaya untuk meminimalisir bencana banjir menjelang musim penghujan.
Hal ini disampaikan Pejabat (Pj) Wali Kota Pangkalpinang, Dra. Lusje Anneke Tabalujan, M.Pd usai menghadiri pertemuan bulanan bersama Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kota Pangkalpinang, Selasa (28/11/2023) di Ruang Pertemuan OR Kantor Wali Kota Pangkalpinang.
Lusje telah memastikan kesiapan mitigasi menghadapi tantangan bencana banjir di Kota Pangkalpinang telah matang. Bahkan ia pun mengaku telah berkoordinasi dengan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD).
“Kemarin saya sudah rapat dengan BPBD, saya bilang mereka sudah mula siap dengan tusinya,” ujar Lusje.
Jika memungkinkan, Lusje menyebut, pemkot juga akan mengadakan pelatihan penanganan dan antisipasi bencana banjir.
Sejumlah OPD terkait pun akan dilibatkan dalam kegiatan tersebut seperti sekolah-sekolah yang akan dijadikan tempat pengungsian semisal dibutuhkan.
“Saya sudah minta, mudah-mudahan tersedinya anggaran. Kalau tidak mereka harus berusaha untuk latihan dan simulasi kalau terjadinya bencana,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu, Lusje pun meminta agar masyarakat dapat bersiap-siap menghadapi potensi dampak yang akan terjadi menjelang musim penghujan.
“Untuk masyarakat yang rumahnya berada di kawasan terdampak banjir agar lebih waspada, saling mengingatkan dan lebih bersiap-siap,” katanya. (Yuko)
