Saat ditemui ketua Fordas Babel Ustad Fadilah Sobri menegaskan bahwa yang dilakukan oleh Fordas Babel bukan memecah belah masyarakat Belitung Timur (Beltim), tapi sebagai organisasi yang dibentuk oleh Gubernur Babel dan mengacu pada peraturan daerah dan perundang-undangan daerah aliran sungai jadi wajar kami melakukan pelaporan kepada pihak yang berwajib dan kementerian
“Kami mengutuk keras dengan apa yang dilakukan oleh penambang ilegal yang ada di Beltim, itu adalah perbuatan melangar hukum. Apa lagi yang di persekusi itu adalah pahlawan lingkungan,”ungkapnya
Ia juga menyayangkan sikap aparat keamanan yang membiarkan para penambang melakukan intimidasi kepada Yudi Senga, seharusnya jangan dibiarkan dirinya membuat dan menandatangani surat tersebut.
“Apa yang dilakukan oleh penambang ilegal kepada Yudi Senga seolah-olah ada pembiaran. Untuk itu kami akan melakukan koordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah dan Polres Beltim serta mengambil langkah-langkah selanjutnya,”tegas Rektor Universitas Muhammadiah Babel
Ketua Fordas Babel sudah mengirimkan wakil ketua Fordas Babel untuk memdampingi Yudi Senga agar memdapatkan perlindungan dan keadilan atas apa yang telah dirasakan ketika didatangi oleh masa penambang liar
“Fordas itu tak anti penambangan, justru kita memberikan masukan bagaimana cara menangani penambangan rakyat ini agar bisa dilegalkan dan sesuai aturan dengan kewajiban dan haknya. Jadi jangan alihkan isu persekusi ini dengan masalah ekonomi dan lain-lainnya, ada orang yang mengatakan bahwa timah adalah anugrah dari allah. Ia betul, tapi ada aturan cara pengelolaannya. Dalam alquran jelas dikatakan akan tampak kerusakan didarat dan dilaut dilaut dan darat akibat ulah tangan manusia,”katanya
Selanjutnya Ustad Fadilah Sobri menegaskan bawa Yudi Senga ini adalah nelayan yang peduli lingkungan dan ditawari apa-apa dia tidak mau
