JAKARTA,PERKARANEWS.COM– Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) akhirnya memutuskan bahwa Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) Bangka Barat terbukti mengandung praktik politik uang. Hal ini diungkapkan oleh Hakim MK Suhartoyo dalam sidang pembacaan putusan yang digelar pada Senin,(24/2)
Hakim MK Suhartoyo menjelaskan kronologi faktual berdasarkan keterangan saksi dari pemohon, Rizaldi. Rizaldi yang merupakan koordinator desa di Sinar Manik, Jebus, mengungkapkan adanya pemberian uang kepada 148 pemilih. Uang tersebut diberikan melalui koordinator di masing-masing Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) dengan tujuan memenangkan pasangan calon nomor urut 2.
“Saksi Rizaldi, yang merupakan koordinator desa, menerima uang sebesar 11 juta rupiah untuk diserahkan kepada 148 pemilih di 4 TPS di Desa Sinar Manik,” ujar Suhartoyo.
Laporan Bawaslu Tidak Ditindaklanjuti
Suhartoyo juga menyoroti adanya tiga laporan terkait politik uang yang tidak ditindaklanjuti oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Bangka Barat.
Menurutnya, Bawaslu hanya fokus pada tidak terpenuhinya syarat prosedural laporan, bukan pada substansi pelanggaran.
“Meskipun laporan-laporan telah diterima oleh Bawaslu Bangka Barat, namun tidak diregistrasi karena tidak memenuhi syarat materil. Hal ini belum menyelesaikan persoalan substansi dari dugaan pelanggaran politik uang,” tegasnya.
Berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang terungkap di persidangan, MK akhirnya memutuskan untuk membatalkan hasil Pilkada Bangka Barat. Suhartoyo menegaskan bahwa praktik politik uang telah mencederai kemurnian hasil perolehan suara.
“Mahkamah berkesimpulan bahwa praktik politik uang telah mencederai kemurnian terhadap hasil perolehan suara pemilihan kepala daerah Kabupaten Bangka Barat tahun 2024,” kata Suhartoyo.
Putusan MK ini tentu saja mengejutkan banyak pihak. Masyarakat Bangka Barat pun memberikan reaksi beragam. Ada yang mendukung putusan tersebut karena dianggap sebagai langkah penegakan hukum yang tegas. Namun, ada pula yang menyayangkan pembatalan hasil Pilkada karena dianggap merugikan proses demokrasi.
Imbauan untuk Pilkada Serentak 2024
Putusan MK ini diharapkan menjadi pelajaran penting bagi semua pihak terkait, terutama bagi para peserta Pilkada serentak 2024. Suhartoyo mengimbau agar semua pihak menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai demokrasi dan menghindari praktik-praktik yang merusak integritas pemilihan.(Yuko)
