PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) Sugito meninjau langsung ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan harga bahan kebutuhan pokok di Pasar Induk Tanjung Pandan Belitung, Kamis (12/9).
Menurutnya, langkah ini dilakukan dalam rangka pengendalian inflasi menjelang perayaan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW. Sehingga masyarakat dapat merayakan dengan tenang dan khidmat.
“Saya memeriksa langsung kondisi pasar serta ketersediaan bahan-bahan makanan penting. Upaya ini adalah bagian dari komitmen pemerintah untuk menjaga kestabilan harga dan memastikan kebutuhan pokok warga terpenuhi, terutama pada momen-momen penting seperti hari besar,” ujarnya.
Dari hasil peninjauannya, harga pangan dan bahan kebutuhan pokok masih dalam kondisi yang aman dan terjangkau bagi masyarakat. Ia berharap, harga pangan yang terjangkau ini dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, selain meninjau ketersediaan pasokan barang pokok, orang nomor satu di Babel ini juga menyempatkan untuk berinteraksi mendengar masukan baik dari pedagang dan masyarakat yang berbelanja di pasar.
Setelah meninjau pasar induk Tanjungpandan, Pj Gubernur Sugito melanjutkan peninjauan ke salah satu distributor swasta dan gudang Perum Bulog KCP Belitung.(Yuko)
