PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Polda Bangka Belitung melakukan pengamanan kegiatan Rapat Pleno Terbuka Rekapitulasi Hasil Penghitungan Perolehan Suara dan Penetapan Hasil Rekapitulasi Penghitungan Perolehan Suara Tingkat Provinsi, Rabu (6/3/2024) siang.
Total ada sebanyak 560 personel pengamanan yang diterjunkan langsung oleh Polda Babel dalam Rapat Pleno yang berlangsung di Swiss-belhotel Pangkalpinang.
Demikian hal tersebut disampaikan Kapolda Bangka Belitung Irjen Pol Tornagogo Sihombing usai menghadiri pembukaan Rapat Pleno Terbuka.
“Untuk Pengamanan kita pada sore ini ada sebanyak 560 personel yang dilibatkan dalam proses ini (rapat pleno terbuka),” kata Kapolda.
Selain itu, Tornagogo menuturkan pihaknya hingga saat ini masih melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan terkait Operasi Mantap Brata Menumbing 2023-2024.
Menurutnya, kesiapan baik pengamanan dan lain-lainnya, masih dilakukan dan terus berjalan sampai nanti bulan Oktober mendatang.
“Jadi OMB masih berlangsung dan masih seperti semula yang saya paparkan bahwa kesiapan kita sampai Oktober nanti. Untuk giat-giat selanjutnya kita mengikuti agenda KPU baik Kabupaten, Provinsi bahkan Pusat. Polri tetap melakukan pengamanan,” tuturnya.
Kapolda juga menerangkan melalui Bidang Kesehatan pihaknya terus melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan baik kepada personel di lapangan maupun para petugas penyelenggara Pemilu.
Lebih lanjut, Mantan Wairwasum Polri ini juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada masyarakat di Bangka Belitung yang dapat menjaga kondusifitas kamtibmas selama tahapan Pemilu berlangsung.
Ia mengakui hingga tahapan Rapat Pleno terbuka ini masyarakat sudah sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kamtibmas.
“Kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada masyarakat Babel, meskipun di beberapa tempat ada pemungutan suara ulang (PSU) situasi tetap kondusif. Artinya ini menandakan masyarakat sekarang sadar terkait kamtibmas dalam menjaga wilayah sehingga tidak terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan,” pungkasnya. (Yuko)
