BANGKA, PERKARANEWS.COM – Dalam rangkaian perayaan Dies Natalis Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) ke-31, Satuan Tugas Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Perguruan Tinggi (PPKPT) menggelar seminar bertema Etika Bermedia Sosial di Gedung Kuliah Bersama, Kamis (16/10/2025).
Sebelum seminar berlangsung, Satgas PPKPT juga menghadirkan kegiatan layanan konseling psikologis bersama dua pakar, Okta Brinna, S.Psi., M.Psi., dan Rakhmawati Tri Lestari, M.Psi. Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya kampus dalam mendukung kesehatan mental pegawai dan mahasiswa.
Seminar diikuti oleh seluruh pegawai Polman Babel dengan narasumber utama psikolog Okta Brinna, S.Psi., M.Psi. Acara ini sekaligus menjadi penutup dari rangkaian layanan bimbingan konseling yang telah berlangsung sejak 13 hingga 16 Oktober 2025.
Sebelumnya, layanan konseling tersebut menarik minat 26 peserta dari kalangan mahasiswa dan pegawai. Setelah melalui proses verifikasi, sebanyak 22 peserta resmi mendapatkan sesi konsultasi yang difasilitasi oleh Satgas PPKPT.
Dalam pemaparannya, narasumber Okta Brinna menyampaikan beragam materi mengenai bentuk-bentuk kekerasan, baik fisik maupun psikis, yang sering kali terjadi tanpa disadari di lingkungan kerja maupun media sosial. Kekerasan tidak selalu tampak kasat mata. Banyak yang terjadi melalui ucapan, tulisan, atau perilaku di dunia maya,” ucapnya.
Ia juga menekankan pentingnya menjaga etika dalam berinteraksi di media sosial. Media sosial bisa menjadi sarana positif apabila digunakan dengan bijak, namun juga dapat berdampak negatif jika digunakan tanpa kendali dan empati,” terangnya
Selain penyampaian materi, para peserta juga diajak melakukan refleksi diri melalui lembar isian yang dibagikan langsung oleh narasumber. Isian tersebut berisi pertanyaan sederhana namun bermakna mengenai kepribadian dan cara individu merespons situasi sosial di sekitar mereka.
“Melalui isian ini, peserta dapat memahami bagaimana cara berpikir dan bersikap mereka ketika menghadapi konflik, baik di dunia nyata maupun di media sosial,” tambah Okta.
Sementara itu, Ketua Satgas PPKPT Polman Babel, Yang Fitri Arriyani, M.T., menjelaskan kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk kebutuhan kampus dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja dan belajar yang sehat, aman, serta bebas dari kekerasan.
“Seminar seperti ini, kami ingin menumbuhkan kesadaran etika digital di lingkungan kampus,” jelasnya.
Selain kegiatan ini, rangkaian kegiatan, acara dilanjutkan dengan ramah tamah dan makan bersama dengan suasana penuh keakraban dalam bentuk kebersamaan seluruh pegawai Polman Babel sekaligus mengiringi semarak perayaan Dies Natalis ke-31 Polman Babel yang penuh makna dan kekeluargaan,” tutupnya.
