BANGKA, PERKARANEWS.COM – Kegiatan donor darah yang digelar oleh Korps Sukarela Palang Merah Indonesia (KSR PMI) Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung (Polman Babel) bekerja sama dengan PMI Kabupaten Bangka berlangsung sukses dan penuh semangat kemanusiaan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di ruang ITS kampus Polman Babel pada Jumat (17/10/2025).
Sejak pagi, peserta sudah terlihat denagat tercatat lebih dari 50 orang mendaftar untuk menjadi pendonor, meskipun kuota yang tersedia hanya untuk sekitar 30 peserta. Sebelum melakukan donor, seluruh pendaftar diwajibkan menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan guna memastikan kondisi tubuh memenuhi syarat untuk mendonorkan darah.
Bagi peserta yang belum memenuhi standar kesehatan, petugas medis memberikan edukasi agar tetap menjaga kesehatan dan dapat berpartisipasi pada kegiatan donor darah sebagai bentuk rasa sosial panitia dan PMI dalam menjaga keselamatan serta kualitas darah yang akan disalurkan kepada masyarakat.
Saat dikonfirmasi pada Sabtu (18/10/2025), Pembina KSR PMI Polman Babel, Evvin Faristasari, M.Sc., menyampaikan kegiatan donor darah ini merupakan wujud kepedulian sosial dan solidaritas kemanusiaan di lingkungan kampus. Melalui kerja sama ini, darah yang terkumpul disalurkan langsung ke PMI Kabupaten Bangka untuk mendukung ketersediaan stok darah yang sangat dibutuhkan di rumah sakit,” jelasnya.
Evvin menambahkan, kegiatan tersebut juga menjadi sarana pembelajaran dan refleksi sosial bagi mahasiswa.
“Partisipasi aktif sivitas akademika mencerminkan semangat kemanusiaan serta memperkuat ikatan sosial kampus,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, Evvin berharap kegiatan seperti ini dapat terus berlanjut secara rutin sebagai bentuk kontribusi nyata Polman Babel terhadap masyarakat dan kesadaran bersama untuk menjadi pendonor darah secara berkelanjutan.
“Semoga kontribusi bermakna ini terus tumbuh dan bermanfaat untuk mendukung PMI dalam menjaga ketersediaan darah, sekaligus memperluas dampak positif bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan layanan kesehatan darurat,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, salah satu dosen Polman Babel sekaligus pendonor tetap, Erwanto, M.T., mengaku kegiatan donor darah sudah menjadi rutinitasnya.
