PDI Perjuangan Babel Kirim 4 Pasang Calon Wako dan Wawako ke DPP untuk Uji Kelayakan Pilkada

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM– Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI Perjuangan) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) menunjukkan keseriusannya dalam menghadapi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) Kota Pangkalpinang 2024. Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Babel, Didit Srigusjaya, secara tegas menyatakan bahwa pihaknya akan mengirimkan maksimal empat orang calon wali kota dan empat orang calon wakil wali kota untuk mengikuti tahapan fit and proper test di tingkat Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) partai.

“Ini adalah tahapan pasca pendaftaran. Ada sembilan calon wali kota dan delapan calon wakil wali kota yang akan kita seleksi kembali,” ujar Didit kepada awak media di Pangkalpinang, Sabtu (10/5/2025).

Didit menjelaskan bahwa para bakal calon tersebut telah menyampaikan pertanyaan terkait arah kebijakan partai di tingkat DPC maupun DPD. Ia secara khusus menyoroti pemahaman para calon terhadap ideologi Bung Karno.

“Kalau saya lebih fokusnya kepada ideologi Bung Karno. Alhamdulillah mereka ini pintar-pintar semua, ya kayak Pak Dokter, Pak Roy Sani, Pak Basit juga. Artinya mereka sudah memahami tentang kontekstual yang namanya konsep Bung Karno dan Marhaen,” ungkapnya.

Lebih lanjut, Didit mengatakan bahwa setelah proses ini, DPD dan DPC akan melakukan rapat untuk menentukan nama-nama yang akan diusulkan ke DPP.

“Maksimal empat pasang calon akan kita kirim ke DPP. Dan nanti DPP yang akan menggodok siapa yang akan mendapat rekomendasinya,” tegasnya.

Menariknya, Didit menyampaikan ketentuan khusus terkait komposisi calon.

“Akan tetapi jika nanti yang dicalonkan adalah wali kotanya non-kader, wakilnya wajib dari PD Perjuangan,” jelasnya.

Menanggapi komentar dari partai lain, Didit menyatakan bahwa PDI Perjuangan siap berkompetisi dengan siapapun.

“Berkomentar, itu hak daripada politik masing-masing. Yang jelas bahwa PDI Perjuangan siap untuk berkompetisi dengan siapapun,” tandasnya.

Selain Pangkalpinang, Didit juga menyebutkan bahwa DPD PDI Perjuangan Babel juga menerima pendaftaran tujuh calon bupati dan tujuh calon wakil bupati untuk Pilkada di kabupaten/kota lainnya. Proses serupa juga akan dilakukan untuk para calon kepala daerah di tingkat kabupaten.
