PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM – Tindakan penyegelan sekretariat Ikatan Keluarga Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Bangka (ISBA) Yogyakarta oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bangka menuai kecaman keras dari Aliansi Relawan Mahasiswa Bangka (ARMABA). Dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di Warkop Pangkopi, Pangkalpinang, Rabu (5/3) malam, ARMABA mengutuk keras tindakan yang dianggap arogan dan intimidatif tersebut.
Ketua ARMABA, Moris, menyatakan bahwa pengiriman lima personel Satpol PP untuk menyegel sekretariat ISBA merupakan bentuk arogansi Pemkab Bangka yang tidak mau berkompromi dengan hak dan kepentingan mahasiswa.
“Kami akan lawan arogansi ini. Kedatangan Satpol PP adalah bentuk intimidasi terhadap adik-adik mahasiswa kami. Ini tidak bisa dibiarkan,” tegas Moris.
ARMABA mengancam akan mengerahkan 50 alumni untuk menduduki asrama ISBA jika Pemkab Bangka tidak segera mengambil langkah kompromi. Mereka juga mendesak DPRD Kabupaten Bangka untuk serius menyikapi permasalahan ini dan tidak hanya menjadikannya sebagai seremonial belaka.
“Kami adalah organisasi intelek dan berintegritas. DPRD Bangka seharusnya sigap menyikapi aspirasi kami. Jangan sampai RDP kemarin hanya seremonial saja,” ujar Moris.
Lebih lanjut, ARMABA menyoroti wacana perubahan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) yang diduga akan mengkomersialkan asrama ISBA. Mereka menilai hal ini sebagai bentuk pemufakatan jahat untuk merampas hak ISBA yang selama ini mengelola asrama tersebut.
“Asrama ini ada karena perjuangan mahasiswa Bangka saat masih menjadi bagian dari Sumatera Selatan. Ini adalah hak seluruh mahasiswa Bangka, termasuk Belitung,” tegas Moris.(Yuko)
