PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS.COM – Di tengah upaya pemerintah melakukan penghematan anggaran negara melalui Inpres Nomor 1 Tahun 2025, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Pangkalpinang justru menggelar rapat evaluasi pelaksanaan Pilkada Serentak 2024 di sebuah hotel mewah.
Kegiatan yang dibiayai oleh Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Daerah (APBD) Kota Pangkalpinang ini menuai sorotan karena dinilai tidak sejalan dengan semangat penghematan yang sedang digalakkan. Rapat evaluasi ini diadakan di Hotel Swissbel Bangka pada Rabu (19/2).
Ketua KPU Kota Pangkalpinang, Sobarian, menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan masukan dari berbagai pihak terkait mengenai pelaksanaan Pilkada 2024. Masukan tersebut akan digunakan sebagai bahan evaluasi dan perbaikan untuk Pilkada ulang yang akan dilaksanakan pada Agustus 2025 mendatang.
“Jadi masukan-masukan itu bisa kita antisipasi dan kita punya strategi-strategi baru di Pilkada Ulang nanti,” ujar Sobarian seperti dikutip dari Bangka Pos.
Sobarian menambahkan bahwa masukan yang disampaikan oleh berbagai pihak diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal untuk memperbaiki berbagai aspek terkait Pilkada, mulai dari sistem, administrasi, hingga strategi sosialisasi.
Meskipun demikian, pemilihan hotel mewah sebagai tempat pelaksanaan rapat evaluasi ini tetap menjadi pertanyaan. Di tengah kondisi keuangan negara yang sedang mengalami tekanan, penggunaan anggaran daerah untuk kegiatan yang dinilai kurang prioritas menjadi sorotan publik.(Yuko)
