BANGKA TENGAH,PERKARANEWS– Aktivitas tambang timah ilegal di Desa Teru, Bangka Tengah, semakin mengkhawatirkan. Operasi tambang yang jaraknya hanya sekitar dua meter dari jalan raya tidak hanya membahayakan pengguna jalan, tetapi juga mengancam fasilitas negara.
Sebuah unit alat berat berwarna oranye merk Hitachi terpantau beroperasi di lokasi tambang. Yang lebih mengkhawatirkan, aktivitas tambang ini dijaga ketat oleh oknum aparat penegak hukum dari satuan TNI.
Manajer K3 PLN Wilayah Babel, Eko Hadianto, saat dikonfirmasi menyatakan keprihatinannya terhadap situasi ini.
“Bahaya sekali. Jika aktivitas tambang ini terus berlanjut, dikhawatirkan akan mengganggu jaringan listrik kami,” tegas Eko.
PLN Wilayah Babel berencana turun langsung ke lapangan untuk melakukan pengecekan. Jika kondisi di lapangan dinilai membahayakan, PLN tidak akan segan-segan mengambil tindakan tegas.
“Kami tidak ingin masyarakat mengalami pemadaman listrik akibat kerusakan infrastruktur yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas tambang ilegal ini,” pungkas Eko.(Yuko)
