Belajar Sejarah Timah dan Kota Mentok, Musuem Timah Indonesia Mentok Kerap Dikunjungi Para Pelajar

PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS – Meseum Timah Indonesia (MTI) Mentok ramai dikunjungi para pelajar yang ingin mengetahui tentang sejarah timah Indonesia. Museum yang terletak di Kabupaten Bangka Barat ini juga menjadi sarana edukasi.

Bangunan Museum Timah Indonesia Mentok merupakan salah satu cagar budaya di Bangka Barat yang telah didirikan sejak tahun 1915 menjadi daya tarik tersendiri saat berkunjung ke MTI Mentok.

Tak jarang Museum Timah Indonesia Mentok kedatangan para pelajar mulai dari pendidikan usia dini hingga mahasiswa. Tak hanya itu, MTI Mentok juga menjadi salah satu daya tarik wisata di Kabupaten Bangka Barat.

Seperti hari ini, pelajar dari TK Stannia berkunjung ke Museum Timah Indonesia Mentok didampingi guru dan orang tua untuk melihat berbagai koleksi museum pada Rabu (2/10/2024).

Kepala Sekolah TK Stania Suparningsih mengatakan, kunjungan ke Museum ini untuk mengenalkan kepada para pelajar tentang sejarah kota Mentol dan Sejarah Timah.

“Dengan mengenalkan benda-benda sejarah di museum yang dipandu dan dijelaskan oleh petugas museum, diharapkan anak-anak mengetahui langsung sejarah kota Mentok dan juga sejarah tentang Timah,” ucapnya.

Menurutnya, tidak hanya para siswa tapi orang tua murid juga sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan kunjungan ke Museum karena bisa melihat berbagai benda bersejarah.

Sementara itu, orang tua siswa Khusnul Khotimah mengatakan dengan kunjungan ke Museum Timah Indonesia Mentok ini mereka bisa mengetahui tentang sejarah timah.

“Kunjungan ke museum ini sangat bagus, jadi anak-anak dan orang tua sama-sama bisa belajar tentang Timah,” kata Ibunda Khaira ini.

Siswa TK Stania Khaira mengaku senang bisa berkunjung ke Museum Timah Indonesia karena mereka bisa melihat hal-hal baru.

“Sangat senang , bersama teman , guru, dan ibu ke museum. Banyak yang dilihat, seperti patung, Timah, pajangan lukisan dan masih banyak lagi lainnya,” ucap Khaira. (Yuko)
