BANGKA TENGAH,PERKARANEWS – Persatuan Drum Band Indonesia (PDBI) Kabupaten Bangka Tengah (Bateng) kembali siap bertanding dan mengukir prestasi pada Kejuaraan Provinsi (Kejurprov) pada Juli 2024 mendatang di Kabupaten Belitung Timur.
Ketua PDBI Bangka Tengah, Usmin mengungkapkan bahwa pada Kejurprov 2023 di Kabupaten Bangka, PDBI Bateng berhasil meraih 2 medali emas, 1 medali perak dan 1 medali perunggu dari 6 nomor yg dilombakan dan PDBI Bangka Tengah menjadi juara umum ke-2 setelah Pangkalpinang.
“Kemarin, saya selaku Ketua PDBI Bangka Tengah bersama pengurus dan perwakilan atlit datang dan bertemu Ketua KONI Bangka Tengah, Yasir dalam agenda Penyerahan Piala Kejurprov PDBI tahun 2023 yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bangka,” terangnya, Selasa (14/5/2024).
“Alhamdulillah, Kejurprov tahun 2023 yang diselenggarakan di Kabupaten Bangka, kami PDBI Bangka Tengah mendapatkan 2 medali emas, 1 medali perak dan 3 medali perunggu dari 6 nomor yang dilombakan,” sambungnya.
Dikatakan Usmin, pihaknya juga sudah menyerahkan piala kemenangan ke KONI Bangka Tengah dan langsung diterima Yasir selaku Ketua KONI Bateng.
“Pertemuan kemarin juga termasuk pengajuan proposal dukungan untuk pelaksanaan Kejurprov bulan Juli 2024 nanti, yang akan dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Belitung Timur,” tuturnya.
Kata Usmin, pihak KONI Bateng sangat mendukung PDBI Bateng bisa ikut dalam event dimaksud.
“Insya Allah dalam waktu dekat, proposal akan segera diteruskan ke tim verifikasi, mengingat juknis dan aturan yang berlaku untuk mendukung kegiatan cabor di Bangka tengah, termasuk usulan dari PDBI untuk ikut Kejurprov di Beltim awal bulan Juli mendatang,” tuturnya.
“Kami sangat berharap, agar dapat ikut serta membawa para atlit PDBI yang memiliki semangat luar biasa, tentunya dengan target prestasi, agar dapat mengharumkan Bangka Tengah kedepan,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua KONI Bangka Tengah, Yasir mengatakan siap mengoptimalkan dan mendukung keberangkatan atlit PDBI ke Beltim.
“Untuk PDBI Bateng, Insya Allah KONI Bangka Tengah siap support, kita juga berpesan dengan waktu kurang lebih 1 bulan lebih ini, para atlit terus berlatih dan diusahakan mempertahankan prestasi kemarin, bahkan meraih Juara 1,” ujarnya.
“Harapan kita, tahun ini harus Juara 1,” tambahnya.
Terpisah, Bupati Bangka Tengah, Algafry Rahman juga turut mendukung atlit PDBI Bateng yang bakal bertanding di Kejurprov 2024.
