BELITUNG,PERKARANEWS — Menyikapi masih banyaknya aktivitas Ilegal mining yang berlangsung di Pulau Belitung, baik yang di luar IUP PT Timah maupun di kawasan HLP dan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS), Aktivis Pulau Belitung Pifin Heriyanto meminta Kejagung RI agar dapat datang ke Pulau Belitung guna memeriksa Unit Produksi PT Timah di Belitung.
Permintaan Tileng, sapaan akrab Pifin Heriyanto, terkait dugaan adanya penampungan timah dari luar IUP yang berasal dari mitra-mitra PT Timah yang ada di Pulau Belitung.
“Dugaan ini didasari atas masih banyaknya aktivitas Ilegal mining timah dan aktivitas meja goyang (ilegal) yang hingga kini masih beroperasi,” kata Tileng.
Bahkan, lanjut Tileng, ada salah satu oknum pemilik meja goyang di Tanjungpandan yang secara terang-terangan mengatakan bahwa mereka menampung timah ilegal.
Tileng menduga, adanya kasus Tata Niaga Timahlah membuat semua smelter swasta stop beroperasi dan membeli Timah. Dan, hanya tinggal PT Timah yang masih melakukan produksi, serta melakukan pembelian biji timah.
“Namun, dengan masih maraknya aktivitas pertambangan timah Ilegal, saya menduga PT Timahlah yang menampung timah-timah dari aktivitas Ilegal mining ini,” kata dia.
Aktivtias ilegal mining ini menurut Tileng bisa ditemukan dengan mudah, baik itu yang ada di Perairan Laut Sungai Padang Sijuk, Juru Sebrang Tanjungpandan, Sungai Manggar, Kawasan Alpaco, Pantai Nyiur Melambai dan Pantai Mudong, serta Sungai Lenggang.
Lebih lanjut menurut Tileng, kegiatan menampung timah dari luar IUP bisa dianggap sebagai tindakan ilegal karena melakukan penambangan tanpa izin, sehingga melanggar Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2021 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 4 Tahun 2009 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara.
“Pada pasal 158 UU tersebut, disebutkan bahwa orang yang melakukan penambangan tanpa izin dipidana penjara paling lama 5 tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp100.000.000.000. Termasuk juga setiap orang yang memiliki IUP pada tahap eksplorasi, tetapi melakukan kegiatan operasi produksi, dipidana dengan pidana penjara diatur dalam pasal 160,” tandasnya. (Yuko)
