PANGKALPINANG,PERKARANEWS — Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung menggelar gala premiere film ‘Pocong Kampanye’. Kegiatan tersebut dalam rangka menyosialisasikan tahapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024 di daerah itu.
Gala premiere film ‘Pocong Kampanye’ ini digelar di Resto Tsahang Kota Pangkalpinang, pada Rabu malam (31/1/2024).
Acara nonton bareng KPU ini dihadiri sejumlah pejabat dari instansi pemerintahan, calon anggota DPD, para petinggi partai politik yang ada di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, serta seluruh kru dan pemain film Pocong Kampanye.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua Divisi Sosdiklih, Parmas dan SDM KPU Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Deni mengatakan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mendukung tahapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024.
Dia mengingatkan kepada para peserta Pemilu 2024 agar menghindari praktik money politik dan hoaks. Sebab, ada sanksi pidana dan administrasi bagi mereka yang melanggar aturan pemilu.
“Pemutaran film ini sekaligus dalam rangka meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mendukung tahapan penyelenggaraan Pemilu 2024. Kami juga mengajak seluruh masyarakat agar datang ke TPS menggunakan hak pilihnya pada 14 Februari mendatang,” katanya.
Film karya anak Bangka Belitung berjudul ‘Pocong Kampanye’ ini menceritakan tentang dunia perpolitikan pada Pemilu Serentak.
Film ini dimotori rumah produksi OMB Creative, Muhammad Fathurrakhman alias Boy selaku Executive Produser, Tommy Permana sebagai Produser, dan Jack Saputra atau Jack Tugil (Influencer) sebagai Sutradara, serta didukung oleh KPU Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.
Boy selaku Executive Produser Film ‘Pocong Kampanye’ mengatakan cerita dalam film ini diharapkan menjadi hiburan bagi masyarakat. Sebab, sebentar lagi akan digelar pesta demokrasi lima tahunan.
“Film ini kami persembahkan bagi seluruh masyarakat agar tidak kehilangan selera humor di tengah kompetisi perpolitikan saat ini. Kami juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang terlibat,” ujarnya.
Sementara Sutradara Film ‘Pocong Kampanye’, Jack Saputra menuturkan film ini menceritakan kisah seorang pemuda yang berusaha merubah nasib di tengah pemilu dengan mencalonkan diri sebagai caleg DPRD.
“Namun karena terdesak biaya pencalonan, pemuda tersebut terjerat pinjaman online. Jadi ada drama, horor dan komedi dalam film ini,” tuturnya.
Sementara itu, Produser Film Pocong Kampanye, Tommy Permana menyampaikan film genre horor ini menawarkan pengalaman yang menyeramkan dan tak terlupakan bagi pencinta film horor Tanah Air.
